WOOHOO! I have been waiting on this day for a looong time! The Twilight soundtracks have been one of my favorite things that has came out of the Twilight Saga (besides the books). I think having music to go along with the books you're reading & the movies watched, plays such a major role in how you perceive the movie. I listened to the Twilight & New Moon soundtrack daily & still do, my 2 year old knows the words to some of the songs, & I have drove my hubby bat shit crazy listening to them & singing them (that's always a plus). I'm a huge indie-alternative music fan & love that they highlight some of the new indie artist & bring so many new fans to them through Twilight. One soundtrack title has already been released & is going to be the first single of the soundtrack, Muse's "Neutron Star Collision (Love is Forever). Muse is one of my favorite bands EVER & I couldn't even fathom listening to a Twilight soundtrack without them on it. This is going to be a fanfuckingtastic week, Eclipse soundtrack list released tomorrow, & Oprah interview with Rob, Kristen, Taylor, & Dakota airs Thursday. Needless to say, I can't fucking wait!
Myspace announced that the Eclipse soundtrack artists will be unveiled tomorrow starting at 8 AM PT.
They write:
Starting at 8:00 A.M. PT tomorrow morning, we will be announcing each band that will be appearing on the soundtrack for the latest installment of the sink-my-fangs-into-your-neck soap opera, one every half hour. Hope you have six hours to spare! As evidenced by the success of bands such as Paramore—who landed on the first Twilight soundtrack—this is one album that emerging acts will always vie to be a part of.
